Japan's consumer prices up 0.1 pct in December

Japan's consumer prices increased 0.1 percent in December from a year earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said in a report Friday.

The core consumer price index, excluding volatile fresh food prices, stood at 103.3 against the 2010 base of 100, the government report said. Endit
