Households confidence slightly improves in January: Insee

French households become more confident about the country's economy in January than December last year, according to data released Wednesday by the national statistics institute, Insee.

In January, households were more optimistic regarding their expected standard of living in France, with the corresponding index grew by 4 points and reached its highest level since October 2007.

The fears of households concerning unemployment diminished sharply anew, with the index dropping 11 points to the level of November 2015. Endit
