Ramires poised for China move

Xinhua, January 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chelsea midfielder Ramires is poised to join Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in a deal worth 25 million British pounds.

The 28-year-old signed a new four-year deal at Stamford Bridge in October but has fallen out of favor under interim coach Guus Hiddink.

Ramires could join up with the Chinese club's squad during a pre-season training camp in southern Spain this week, according to Brazil's Uol news portal.

Ramires has not started for Chelsea since their 2-1 defeat at Leicester in December.

Jiangsu Suning, who are coached by former Chelsea winger Dan Petrescu, are said to be facing competition for Ramires' signature from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. Endit
