Czech Kvitova parts with her coach

Czech's Petra Kvitova announced Monday on Facebook that she has parted with coach David Kotyza after more than seven years.

Kvitova, 25, won the Wimbledon championship twice in 2011 and 2014. She said she has not found a successor for Kotyza and wants to resolve the situation during February.

She said her career needs a change after she failed in the second round of Australian Open im Melbourne.

Kotyza said that he respects Kvitova's decision.

Kvitova started her cooperation with Kotyza in November 2008. She won 17 WTA tournaments in her career. Endit
