British FTSE 100 decreases 0.39 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.39 percent, or 23.01 points, to 5,877.00 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 2.89 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Sage Group, Berkeley Group Holdings, Persimmon, AstraZeneca increased by 2.43 percent, 2.37 percent, 1.94 percent and 1.83 percent respectively.

Kingfisher led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.12 percent, followed by Lloyds Banking Group (5.56 percent), Barclays (4.67 percent), Royal Bank of Scotland Group (4.12 percent) and BT Group (3.34 percent). Endit
