British FTSE 100 drops 3.46 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreased by 3.46 percent, or 203.22 points, to close at 5,673.58 points.

There were only two gainers among the blue chips, Randgold Resources (3.47 percent) and Sports Direct International (2.30 percent) on the trading day.

Glencore led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 9.85 percent, followed by Anglo American (7.43 percent), BHP Billiton (7.37 percent),Royal Dutch Shell A (7.25 percent), and Royal Dutch Shell B (6.72 percent). Endit
