Indian stocks plunge after broad-based sell-off

Indian stocks experienced a black Wednesday tracking a plunge in crude prices and weakness in global equity markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,062.04, 417.80 points or 1.71 percent down from the previous close of 24,479.84, with a turnover of 572.09 crore rupees (about 84.2 million U.S. dollars). Endit
