Chinese shares open mixed Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02 percent, at 2,914.41 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index opened 0.18 percent lower at 10,137.38 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.22 percent to open at 2,170.09 points. Endi
