Dollar in lower 117 yen range in early Tokyo trade

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the the lower 117 yen zone range in early trade on Tuesday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.45-46 yen compared with 117.35-45 yen in London at 4 p.m. and 117.03-05 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m.

The euro, meanwhile, was quoted at 1.0891-0893 dollars and 127.93-94 yen against 1.0870-0880 dollars and 127.65-70 yen in London and 1.0892-0893 dollars and 127.47-51 yen logged in Tokyo in late Monday afternoon trade.

On Monday markets in the U.S. were closed for a national holiday. Enditem
