Fragrance 43°N japonica rice, the first Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone (SSJFZ)- branded product, hits shelves in Singapore on Friday.

Cultivated in Jilin, Northeast China, known for its fertile black soil and pristine environment, Fragrance 43°N japonica rice is harvested and packaged through a process that integrates Singapore's food safety standard and experience.

For the pilot launch, 60 tons of the highly nutritious rice will be available at all NTUC Fairprice Xtra hypermarkets and Fairprice Finest supermarkets in 2.5 kg and 5 kg packages.

SSJFZ is a unique platform which integrates multiple Singapore elements with local application across its entire "farm to table" process. Endit
