Spanish stock market falls 0.26 pct, closes at 8,886 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.26 percent on Monday to close at 8,886.10 points, down from the 8,909.20 points of Friday.

On Monday session, OHL shares led falls losing 4.16 percent, followed by Sacyr, Repsol, Acerinox, Grifols and Mediaset that lost 3.27 percent, 2.16 percent, 2.12 percent, 2 percent and 1.51 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Gas Natural shares led rises climbing 1.35 percent followed by Banco Santander, Banco Sabadell, Amadeus, Enagas and Bankia that rose 0.99 percent, 0.98 percent, 0.91 percent, 0.51 percent and 0.30 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 127 points on Monday closing time, rising by seven points since Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.8 percent, slightly above the 1.7 percent of Friday. Endit
