China donates traffic cameras, anti-cybercrime equipment to Cambodia

Xinhua, December 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

China donated a traffic control system and police equipment against internet-related crimes to the Cambodian National Police on Tuesday.

Min Sovanna, director of the radio communication department at the Cambodian National Police, said the donation included more than 200 traffic surveillance cameras and equipment for a command center at the National Police headquarters.

He said those traffic cameras have already been installed on traffic lights at road intersections in Phnom Penh.

"The traffic cameras are very useful for our police to monitor crime and traffic violation in the capital," he said after the signing ceremony. Enditem
