Chinese shares close higher Tuesday

China's stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.26 percent to close at 3,651.77 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index climbed 0.85 percent to close at 13,139.13 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.35 percent to close at 2,839.85 points. Endi
