Caretaker Juergen Kramny promoted to Stuttgart head coach

Xinhua, December 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

Interims coach Juergen Kramny has been promoted to Stuttgart's head coach, the "Swabians" announced in an official statement on Sunday.

Stuttgart's second team coach Juergen Kramny took the reins at the end of November after former coach Alexander Zorniger was sacked due to poor performances with only 10 points from 13 Bundesliga games.

Under the guidance of Kramny, Stuttgart earned one win and two draws from three games to lift the "VfB" out of the relegation zone. As a result, the clubs bosses rewarded Kramny with a head coach contract until June 2017.

Stuttgart sit currently on the 15th place of the Bundesliga standings and in touching distance to the relegation zone.  Endi
