Switzerland's Lara Gut claimed the World Cup downhill on Saturday, two days after her super-combined victory.

Gut registered the best time of the day for her third victory of the season and the 15th of her career.

World Cup leader Lindsey Vonn failed for the first time at a speed event this season.

Gut stands second overall, just two points behind Vonn. Sweden's Frida Hansdotter is third. Endi
