Schempp wins 12.5km pursuit

Germany's Simon Schempp won the World Cup biathlon 12.5-kilometer pursuit to take his third World Cup victory of the season on Saturday.

Schempp was perfect on the shooting range before he clocked 30 minutes 46.5 seconds for the eighth win of his career.

World Cup leader Martin Fourcade of France finished second with 16.6 seconds back and Russia's Anton Shipulin was third at 23.4 seconds. Endi
