Nigeria has invited 30 players to a training camp ahead of the Africa Handball Nations Cup, an official said on Tuesday.

The training camp will provide a conducive environment for the coaching crew and players, Yusuf Dauda, president of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), told reporters.

Dauda said the training camp was held to help the players improve their skills and get better prepared for the competition with 18 players to be picked up for the tournament.

Nigeria was drawn to group A with Algeria, Cameroon, Morocco and Gabon at the Africa Handball Nations Cup, which is slated for Egypt in January. Endi
