Xinhua, December 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Emirates Airlines will launch a flight linking Dubai with Yinchuan in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from May, the local commerce department said Tuesday.

A Boeing 777 will take off from Dubai International Airport at 2:45 a.m. local time, and arrive in Yinchuan at 1:35 p.m. Beijing time.

The return flight leaves Yinchuan at 0:40 a.m. and arrives in Dubai at 4:30 a.m..

It will be operated every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Yinchuan will become the air company's fourth destination on the Chinese mainland, after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Local officials hope the new service will help improve trade and cultural exchanges between Arab countries and Yinchuan, the permanent home of the China-Arab States Expo. Endi
