Spain's El Corte Ingles to sell Spanish food products in China

Xinhua, December 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

Spain's department store chain El Corte Ingles will sell food products in China thanks to an agreement with the Chinese enterprise Ou-Jue International, El Corte Ingles reported on Thursday.

El Corte Ingles will be able to sell its own brands, such as Club del Gourmet and El Corte Ingles, but also products from other Spanish producers. All these products will be imported by Ou-Jue International in order to distribute them around the country.

There will be stores of between 30 and 150 square meters where these products could be purchased, at Bailian shopping centers, in the streets or at hotels. There will also be an online store where El Corte Ingles will promote Spanish products.

The Spanish company aims at establishing 15 points of sales before 2016 ends. Endit
