The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) of Macedonia said that Macedonia's economy keeps expanding at brisk pace, despite moderate slowdown in the last six months.

FIC President Stefan Peter stated that Macedonia's economy is growing particularly in the private sector after certain slowdown due to political situation in the country and the refugee crisis across Europe, Macedonian International Agency reported on Wednesday.

Peter made the statement after meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) on Tuesday.

According to latest reports from the IMF and the WB, Macedonia's economy is expected to grow by 3.2 percent in 2015. Endi
