BiH gov't vows to crack down on corruption

Xinhua, December 9, 2015 Adjust font size:

Fighting against corruption was a top priority for Bosnia and Herzegovnia (BiH) government, said Denis Zvizdic, BiH Chairman of Council of Ministers, here on Tuesday.

Justice and fairness were key conditions for political stability, economic prosperity and social development, said Zvizdic during his speech at the Assembly of the Anti-corruption Network.

He noted BiH government adopted an action plan for fighting against corruption for the period of 2015-2019.

"This document reflects our political commitment to continue to fight against corruption and create systematic solutions to prevent corruption at all levels," said Zvizdic.

He pledged to make every effort in order to establish a broad legal and institutional framework for effectively fighting against corruption.

"We will not allow crime and corruption to undermine the foundations of our development and future prosperity," he added. Enditem
