Inter midfielder Melo discharged from hospital

Xinhua, December 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Inter Milan midfielder Felipe Melo was discharged from hospital on Sunday after being told nothing serious on a head injury he suffered in a 1-0 home win against Geona.

"Felipe Melo is fine and has already been dismissed following a night of observation at the hospital," said a Twitter post from the Italian club's official website.

Melo, the 32-year-old Brazilian international, clashed with his Chilean teammate Gary Medel during the first half in Saturday's Italian league match and was replaced at halftime.

"I don't remember a thing," Melo told reporters about the incident on Saturday before leaving the stadium. Endit
