Thailand to build distribution center in SW China

Xinhua, December 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Thailand is seeking to build its third Thai product distribution center in China in the southwestern province of Sichuan.

"Thailand is willing to cooperate with Sichuan Province in building the third distribution center in China after Guangdong and Guangxi," said Komate Kamalanavin, Consul-General at Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu.

"Sichuan will become a major portal for Thailand to make connections with the western region of China. Meanwhile, Thailand will serve as a gateway for Sichuan to other ASEAN countries."

In 2014, trade between Thailand to Sichuan hit 730 million U.S. dollars. Rice, fruit and cosmetics from Thailand are among the most popular products in Sichuan. Endi
