A poll published Tuesday showed French President Francois Hollande since the Paris terror attacks gained an approval ratings boost at 35 percent, his best rating since October 2012.
The TNS Sofres-One Point survey in Le Figaro magazine showed Hollande's handling of the Nov. 13 attacks boosted his popularity by 20 points in November compared to a month earlier.
Followers of both right and left parties reported an improved image of Hollande.
Before the Paris shootings, Hollande had long been the pollster's most unpopular French leader, largely due to a perceived failure to ease the country's economic woes.
The governing Socialist Party will contest in round two of regional elections due on Dec. 6.
The survey questioned 1,000 respondents between Nov. 26 and 28. Endit
