More refugees transiting through Slovenia

Some 5,000 refugees entered Slovenia from Monday to Tuesday morning, the highest number in almost a week, with an aim to transit to other European countries.

This brings the total number of transit refugees since Oct. 16 to 281,682, state police statistics shows.

All the arrivals on Monday and Tuesday morning were by train via Slovenian Dobova rail crossing with Croatia, the Slovenian Press Agency said in its report.

Statistics released on the website of the Slovenian police also shows that a total of 164,313 migrants crossed into Slovenia from Croatia in November alone, while 170,387 left for Austria that month.

Since Oct. 20, 269,368 refugees crossed from Slovenia into Austria, according to media reports. Endit
