Uganda's Kayongo elected International Woodball Federation Vice President

Xinhua, November 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

The General Assembly of the International Woodball Federation (IWbF) has elected Uganda's Paul Mark Kayongo as Vice president.

"I am happy that the Assembly which took place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan last weekend elected me to serve as Vice president. This is good for Uganda and Africa because it gives me more energy to work hard towards growth of the sport," Kayongo told Xinhua on Tuesday.

Kayongo, also the President of the Uganda Woodball body, has been a member on the finance committee of the International Woodball Federation since 2013.

As the Vice President elect, Kayongo's immediate task among others is to take charge of the African Woodball development.

"We shall continue to develop the sport on the African continent," said Kayongo. Endit
