Xinhua, November 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

French President Francois Hollande and visiting King of Morocco Mohammad VI on Friday expressed their determination to combat terrorist cells and help to resolve the crisis in the Arab region which has likely triggered rising waves of radicalised militants.

In a press released issued by his office, Hollande "thanked the King of Morocco for the efficient help given by Morocco following Friday's attacks".

Local media reported that officials in Rabat provided key information which helped French police to locate and neutralise Abdelhamid Abaaoud in a raid.

The 28-year-old Belgian man of Morrocan origin was believed to orchestrate simultaneous attacks on Nov. 13 in Paris that have left at least 129 people dead. He was killed during a raid assault in northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis on Wednesday. Endit
