British FTSE 100 increases 0.07 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, on Friday increased by 0.07 percent, or 4.70 points, to 6,334.63 points.

Share price of Royal Mail increased by 2.50 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Old Mutual, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Sky and Aberdeen Asset Management increased by 2.42 percent, 2.03 percent, 1.90 percent and 1.89 percent respectively.

Barclays led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.50 percent, followed by G4S (3.01 percent), Lloyds Banking Group (2.11 percent), Royal Dutch Shell 'B' (1.96 percent) and BG Group (1.88 percent). Endit
