Snow to sweep north China, rain in south

Xinhua, November 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Snow will sweep north China while heavy rain will continue in the country's southern part over the next three days, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Thursday.

Moderate and heavy snow will hit parts of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the North China Plain and northeastern Jilin Province in the coming three days starting Thursday, the NMC said.

Snow will also hit the northern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the country's northwest, with some areas to see blizzards, said the NMC.

It forecast that heavy rains will continue in south China, with downpours in parts of Guizhou and Hunan provinces as well as Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Endi
