Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a four-day tour of Malaysia and Singapore on Saturday, sources said Thursday.

"Modi will first go to Kuala Lumpur where he will attend the 13th ASEAN-India Summit and the 10th East Asia Summit, and then he will head to Singapore on a bilateral visit," the sources said.

"At the 13t ASEAN-India Summit, he and ASEAN leaders will review the ASEAN-India cooperation and discuss its future direction, apart from issues of mutual interest, including terrorism," they said.

The Indian Prime Minister will head to Singapore on Nov. 23. "There he will hold talks his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong. He will wrap up his visit on Nov. 24," the sources said.

ASEAN is India's fourth largest trading partner while bilateral trade with Singapore stood at 17 billion U.S. dollars in the last financial year. Endit
