Xinhua, November 18, 2015 Adjust font size:

Argentina's national soccer team defeated Colombia 1-0 on Tuesday to get their first win in the 2018 World Cup South America qualifiers.

The loss, their first at home in the tournament, meant that Colombia have now lost two out of the first four qualification matches.

Throughout the match there were several close misses and the only goal was scored by central midfielder Lucas Biglia in the 20th minute of the game.

The win allowed Argentina, coached by Gerardo Martino, to go above Colombia, coached by Jose Pekerman, in the table.  Endi
