Host Indonesia is leading the medal tally of the 13th World Wushu championship after Tuesday's competitions.

Among the teams from 21 countries and regions, Indonesia has secured six gold, one silver and five bronze medals.

China is standing second with six golds, followed by Hong Kong with 4-4-1.

Indonesia collected three golds on Tuesday from men's and women's Taolu groups.

Indonesian Juwita Niza Wasni secured two gold medals in the women's Taolu Nandao.

"The absence of Chinese athletes in women's Nangun group doesn't make me easy to win. Should Chinese athletes perform in the group, I still have to perform better," Juwita told reporters.

The 13th World Wushu Championship was held in Indonesia's landmark indoor stadium of Istora Senayan from Nov. 13 to 18. The opening session was attended by Chinese actor Jet Li.

The championship has attracted teams from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, Iran, Turkey, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, Brazil, Japan, France, Canada, Ukraine, Russia, the Philippines and the United States.  Endi
