Enhanced security measures deployed after Paris attacks at ATP World Tour Finals

Xinhua, November 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Enhanced security measures will be deployed at the ATP World Tour Finals to kick off in London's O2 Arena on Sunday following the Paris terrorist attacks, organizers said on Saturday.

It was announced in a statement: "The O2 Arena already has enhanced security in place, and tournament preparations are continuing as normal. Venue security is monitored at all times to ensure the safety of all our visitors."

"Following the events overnight, we have reviewed security operations in place around this year's ATP World Tour Finals."

The statement said that no food or drink will be allowed into the arena itself and all bags will be searched. No bags larger than a small laptop bag or handbag will be permitted in arena during the tournament and visitors are urged to travel light, as there is no storage on site.

The season-ending finale features world's top eight players and will run until Nov. 22.  Endi
