Finland to upgrade terror preparedness

Nordic country Finland will raise its own degree of terrorism preparedness, Finnish Interior Minister Petteri said on Saturday.

Orpo made the statement on Twitter after a series of deadly attacks left at least 140 people dead and 200 wounded in Paris, France on Friday.

Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila condemned the attacks and expressed condolences on behalf of the Finnish Government to the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.

"The Government of Finland strongly condemns the terrorist attacks carried out in France. They were also an attack against our democratic and open societies," said Sipila. Endit
