"Very tough" to reach deal with Britain on EU reform: Tusk

European Council President Donald Tusk said here on Thursday that to reach a deal with Britain on European Union (EU) reform would be "very, very tough."

Asked about Britain's demands for reform of the EU at the end of an informal EU summit, the former Polish premier said there was "no guarantee" of an accord in December when leaders are due to meet.

"I have to say that it will be really difficult to find an agreement," he said.

British Prime Minister David Cameron did not participate in the Valletta summit on migration due to a prior commitment to welcome his Indian counterpart in London. Endit
