A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that happened in midtown Manhattan early this week was taken into police custody Thursday morning, local media reported.
According to a CBS report, Vincent Arcona, 27, was picked up after trying to use a fake name when he showed up at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital looking for a psychological evaluation.
Arcona is believed to be an accomplice of the shooter in the deadly confrontation near Penn Station earlier this week, it said.
One man was shot dead and two others wounded in the early Monday morning shooting at the entrance of the subway station at West 35th Street and Eighth Avenue.
The shooting appeared to be drug-related, and started with a quarrel between the victims and the gunman inside the McDonald's at 490 Eighth Ave., just to the south of the subway entrance, CBS quoted police as saying.
All the victims are Hispanic, police said. The victim who was killed was a 43-year-old man. A 45-year-old man was shot in the neck and a 48-year-old man was shot in the leg, both of whom are being treated in the hospital. Endi
