British FTSE 100 decreases 0.92 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.92 percent, or 58.67 points, to 6,295.16 points.

Share price of Barclays increased by 1.55 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Aberdeen Asset Management, Rio Tinto, Travis Perkins and Inmarsat increased by 1.50 percent, 1.16 percent, 1.06 percent and 1.00 percent respectively.

Glencore led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.62 percent, followed by InterContinental Hotels Group (4.29 percent), Centrica (3.29 percent), Severn Trent (2.75 percent) and Morrison (Wm) Supermarkets (2.43 percent). Endit
