French stock market index up 0.41 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 0.41 percent to close at 4,936.18 points on Tuesday, up 19.97 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Tuesday with 22 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Tuesday were Technip, up 4.64 percent, ArcelorMittal, up 4.04 percent, and Total, up 3.63 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were Accor, down 3.12 percent, Unibail-Rodamco, down 2.74 percent, and Safran, down 2.53 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.38 percent to close at 4,916.21points, up 18.55 points. Enditem
