Xinhua, November 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

Ten people were arrested on Tuesday in connection to a fatal highway accident in the central province of Hunan that left 22 dead on Sept. 25.

Two semi-trailer truck drivers were arrested for illegal vehicle modifications and the other eight over allegations of forgery or perverting the course of justice. Another female suspect was exempted due to her pregnancy.

The accident occurred on the highway between Shanghai and Kunming, capital of southwestern Yunnan Province.

A semi-trailer lost control and collided with a bus. The semi-trailer and bus then both burst into flames.

Thirteen people were also injured in the accident. Endi
