A bus with 59 children and adolescents onboard overturned on Friday on a motorway in central Germany, resulting in several injuries, some of them seriously, the Focus Online reported.

Local police were quoted as saying that the bus overturned as it was trying to overtake another vehicle on a motorway near the German city of Erfurt.

There has been no further information yet about the exact number of injured people and the severity of injuries. It also remained unclear weather there were any deaths in the incident. Endit
