Inter beat Bologna 1-0

Xinhua, October 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

Inter Milan moved provisionally back to the top of the Italian Serie A standings after they clinched a 1-0 win at Bologna on Tuesday.

Inter captain Mauro Icardi ended his goalscoring drought of 348 minutes as he tapped in an Adem Ljajic cross from six yards in the 67th minute.

The win, Inter's first in five matches, put them on top of the league with 21 points after 10 matches while Bologna remained in the relegation zone, a point from safety.

Roma, who have a better goal difference than Inter, will return to the top if they avoid defeat at home to Udinese on Wednesday. Endi
