British FTSE 100 decreases 0.42 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.42 percent, or 27.06 points, to 6,417.02 points.

WPP's share decreased as analysts said the advertising giant's latest trading were slightly disappointing.

Share price of Aberdeen Asset Management increased by 2.93 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. TUI AG, International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, Diageo and St James's Place PLC increased by 1.66 percent, 1.59 percent, 1.08 percent and 0.76 percent respectively.

Anglo American PLC led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.12 percent, followed by Glencore (2.69 percent), WPP (2.16 percent), Wolseley (2.10 percent) and ARM Holdings (2.05 percent). Endit
