China's five-year treasury bond futures opened higher on Friday, with the contract for settlement in December 2015 opening 0.08 percent higher at 100.25 yuan (about 15.76 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in March 2016 opened 0.1 percent higher at 100.26 yuan. The contract for settlement in June 2016 opened 0.19 percent higher at 100.4 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
