Chinese shares open higher Friday

Chinese stocks opened higher Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edging up 0.26 percent to open at 3,377.55 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.81 percent higher at 11,397.2 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.23 percent higher at 2,488.31 points. Endi
