Vietnam's top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam moved up five spots to No. 1045 in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP)'s world rankings.
The 18-year-old player, born in southern Tay Ninh province, has withdrawn from the ATP Pune Challenger in India later this month to focus on training for tournaments next year.
Nam became the first Vietnamese to claim a Grand Slam junior title after winning the boys' doubles trophy at the Wimbledon championships, with an Indian partner in July. Endit
