Cambodian PM to visit France, six deals expected to be signed

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay an official visit to France from Oct. 25 to 27, where he will attend a signing ceremony of six cooperation agreements between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday.

Hun Sen will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Tourism Minister Thong Khon, Justice Minister Ang Vong Vathana and other members of the Cambodian government.

"During the visit, Prime Minister Hun Sen will hold official talks with French President Francois Hollande, meet French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and preside over the signing ceremony of (six) documents," the statement said.

One of the documents is the convention on extradition between the two countries, and the five others are focused on the cooperation in education, tourism human resources development, electricity grid construction, culture and water supply project. Endit
