China blacklists over 3 mln firms for lack of information transparency

Nearly 3.14 million enterprises have been included in a list of firms in China which have failed to fulfill their responsibilities on information publicity, an official said Friday.

The name list was placed on record in a national enterprise credit information publicity system, Liu Yuting, the deputy head of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, said.

The system also contains enterprises' information including registration, chattel mortgage, pledge of equities and administrative penalties, Liu said at a regular news briefing held by the State Council Information Office on Friday. Endi
