French stock market index down 0.65 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped slightly by 0.65 percent to close at 4,426.54 points on Thursday, down 28.75 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly lower with 27 of the 40 selected stocks experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Thursday were ArcelorMittal, down 3.84 percent, Engie, down 3.39 percent, and Kering, down 2.46 percent.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Technip, up 2.95 percent, Valeo, up 1.66 percent, and Safran, up 1.56 percent.

On the previous trading day, the CAC 40 rebounded by 2.57 percent to close at 4,455.29 point, up 111.56 points. Enditem
