Dollar stays in upper 119 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 119 yen zone in early Tokyo deals on Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.88-89 yen compared with 119.83-93 yen in New York and 120.02-04 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1170-1171 dollars and 133.91-93 yen against 1.1172-1182 dollars and 133.95-134.05 yen in New York and 1.1229- 1230 dollars and 134.77-81 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
