Urgent: Gold falls more than 1 percent as metal market slumps

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by more than 1 percent Monday along with other metals slump.

The most active gold contract for December delivery lost 13.9 U.S. dollars, or 1.21 percent, to settle at 1,131.7 dollars per ounce. Enditem
